40% of websites in Vietnam that hole

The survey results of the Company Bkav shows the level of security in the system of Vietnam website at regional average.

Undertake research in antivirus software from late 2013 to March 2/2014 on the site of the companies and organizations from 25 countries around the world. The result was in Vietnam, the ratio site vulnerabilities exist up to 40%, slightly higher than the 36% of the Asian region. Meanwhile, the number of sites in Europe have holes just 15%, 5% Americas and Africa 33%. Some sites in the country to 151 vulnerabilities exist dangerous.

Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, Vice President of Network Security Bkav, said this is the main cause of the fall for credit card information, business secrets lead to companies and organizations that are intrusive, being information theft occurred frequently in recent years. H Europe such as agencies and public enterprises also have a website, but the security has not been adequate attention. Vulnerabilities on websites mainly stems from the lack of assessment processes and experiences about secure programming team of programmers.

"In an IT project, should invest at least 5 to 10% for network security, if not corollary system is compromised, the stolen data. The remedy is expensive and takes a lot time ", experts warned Bkav.

2/2014 month alone, there were 2,852 new computer virus strain appeared in Vietnam, infecting 4.6 million computers. Also this month, there are 347 websites of agencies and local businesses suffered hacker intrusion.
